Actors were at the college to film one of six episodes for the eighth series inspired by the novels of North Oxford author Colin Dexter. Producer Chris Burt said: “It’s great to be returning to Oxford once again. We are in the city all this week filming the eighth series of Lewis. We have been filming scenes at St Edmund Hall for the second film, The Lions of Nemea, with our cast including Kevin Whately, Laurence Fox and guest stars Andrea Lowe, Clive Merrison and Rosie Cavaliero.”
ITV spokeswoman Kate Bain said the new episodes are due to be screened in the autumn.
