Royal Mail sell-off was a blow to taxpayers
RE: the letter from A Green, Banbury Road, Oxford: take off your rose-coloured glasses. Gordon Brown sold off the gold to finally pay off our war loan to the USA.
A Green does not mention Cameron’s brilliant sale of the Royal Mail – cost to taxpayers over £1bn – and I expect he blames the last Government for the Euro crisis. Banks collapse worldwide.
Roll on next June, then we can kick this lot out.
