Witney's neighbourhood policing team will host a cycle safety event today at Marriotts Walk from 3pm to 5pm.
Officers will offer free security marking to cyclists to help prevent theft, as well as handing out crime prevention advice.
Team member Pc Matt Gamble said: “While we will be carrying out free bike marking and handing out crime reduction packs, we will also be undertaking zero tolerance in the town when it comes to cycling on pavements.
“We often receive complaints of this nature from visitors to Witney and if we catch any cyclists doing it, we will be issuing £50 on-the-spot fines.”
