A COUNCILLOR says she will not stand for re-election next month because she is “disillusioned” with West Oxfordshire District Council's leadership.
Annie Roy-Barker, who represents Chipping Norton on the council, resigned from the Conservative Party last June to become an independent.
But she said she was evicted from all the sub-committees she was on, including environment and licensing, because she did not represent a party.
Mrs Roy-Barker was elected in 2010.
