The Covered Market
YOUR report (March 21) that the city council refuses to accept an arbitrator’s decision about rent for tenants in the Covered Market, above, because “there was a mistake in the arbitrator’s calculations, meaning it could not pass on the proposed rent”.
Could the city council please tell us exactly what the mistake was?
Otherwise it looks as if they are once again trying to squeeze excessive rents out of the shops in the Covered Market.
If so, none of the present councillors can count on my vote in the forthcoming elections.
