Will new coin be worth as much as the old?
The Royal Mint is to issue a new £1 coin, in 2017, shaped with 12 sides like the old threepenny bit.
The question is will it be worth as much then as the old, beloved coin – perhaps enough to buy, for instance, a second-class stamp?
Better start saving.
