FOR a number of years, my husband and I have donated very generously to Sobell House, Witney, including several pieces of antique furniture.
However, on our last visit approximately six weeks ago, we encountered much the same attitude as David Miles (March 13). As my husband began unloading, an assistant appeared and proceeded to select the items she would accept.
On reflection upon our last visit, we had noticed the absence of any gratitude or good manners.
We had already decided we would not be donating to Sobell House Witney in the future.
