I WOULD like to add to John Tanner’s ‘List of Achievements’ of the last Labour Government (Letters, March 18).
They are: Sent our ill-equipped forces into two pointless wars; mass immigration; saddled us with the ludicrous Human Rights Act; ruined the economy; produced a bloated welfare state; created a politically-correct police force, soft on crime; signed up to anything the EU proposed including the Lisbon Treaty without the promised referendum; dumbed down our history in schools and favoured other religions’ rights over Christianity.
I think that is enough before my ink runs out.
As for Cameron and Clegg? Well not ideal but better than the last Labour Government.
I wonder what would happen in a Tory Government without the Liberal millstone around its neck. We will see.
