I AM in full agreement with Mrs Clare Weiner regarding cyclists who ignore traffic signals. I witness this most times when I am crossing the High Street both by Catte Street and further up the High Street by the Market entrance.
The cyclists go over these crossings seemingly oblivious that the lights are against them. On one occasion a cyclist looked straight at the lights, then at me and rode over the crossing anyway, and ignored me when I called after him.
Cyclists are very quick to criticise cars and pedestrians but, as Mrs Weiner says, they seemingly consider themselves above the law of the road.
