People can learn how to use a life-saving defibrillator on courses at a Chipping Norton pub.
The Lions club is hosting two events on Wednesday, January 29, and Wednesday, February 5, at the Crown and Cushion Hotel, in the Market Place, at 7.30pm. Call Mike Graham on 01608 644678.
The Oxford Mail reported earlier this month that every town and village in West Oxfordshire is in line to have a mobile defibrillator installed, under a scheme that health bosses say will save lives.
An anonymous donation from someone whose life was saved by a defibrillator will see 24 of the £1,800 devices – which shock the heart back to life – provided across the district.
West Oxfordshire District Council agreed to fund another 30.
