Sir – You recently published an article regarding the “under-performing” of a number of primary schools in the county, including Enstone Primary School.

The piece was misleading at best, and alarmist at worst, in that it failed to put forward any tangible point of view while needlessly raising concerns.

I have a son at the school who has a learning disability and have found teaching staff to be exceptional in addressing his needs.

He will not enhance the school’s academic achievement targets but, along with others who have similar needs, he is benefiting hugely from the skills the school has developed.
