Helen Eve graduated with distinction from her creative writing MA at Oxford Brookes University, and “gained praise from publishing royalty including Philip Pullman and Celia Rees”, says her publisher, Macmillan, which describes her as “a star in the making”.
Her crossover teenage/adult novel Stella (£6.99), is a tense modern drama set in the competitive dog-eat-dog world of a private school, where Stella's reign as queen bee is challenged by new girl Caitlin, whose arrival causes a stir among the students.
