Sir – Regarding the query about the picture of a store in 1960 (Re-View, December 26, page 24), I think it is of Woolworths. It was when it was on the Clarendon side of Cornmarket Street.
I think Woolworths was on the opposite side of the street at one time. I remember going there when I was a child.
