Sir – Re: Thames Travel X32. I really am surprised Thames Travel are given permission to run this service from Didcot to Oxford. They call it the ‘Oxford Express’. For more than a year, I have been using it.
It was regularly late — sometimes nearly an hour. I would stand in the rain, snow, wind waiting for it to arrive. When I telephoned to complain, they would always say it was traffic problems. The buses are old. Well, we were told that from yesterday a new improved service would be in operation.
What happened? The 7am from Milton Park to Oxford 20 minutes late — my return journey from Oxford at 1643 was nearly 40 minutes late leaving the city. This morning the 7am was 20 minutes late again. Isn’t there someone who can do something about this terrible service?
