PUPILS staged a 14-hour sponsored trampoline bounce to support famine relief in Africa.
More than 100 children at Chipping Norton School took it in turns to join in the all-night event in 1986 and raised £1,750 for the Sport Aid appeal.
Among them was Sally Fawdry, 13, on the trampoline nearest the camera.
The school drama room was laid out with dozens of sleeping bags so that pupils could rest in the night.
Gareth Lewis, head of PE, said: “The floor was completed covered. It was quite a sight to behold.”
Parents provided refreshments and a local company offered videos to entertain those who could not sleep.
It was the third time pupils at taken to the trampolines to raise money. The 1986 bounce was their best yet, beating the previous record of £1,500.
