OXFORD City Council is in discussions with a developer about plans for 250 homes near the Kassam Stadium.
It is understood the 250 homes would be built on land which is currently used as the stadium’s overflow car park.
The city council has said it will not confirm who the developer is.
Land around the Kassam Stadium has been earmarked for homes by the city council, but on the condition that the stadium remains and any development does not prevent the West Stand from being built in the future.
