FESTIVE tunes will ring out through Oxford Town Hall at this year’s Lord Mayor’s Christmas Carol Service.
The concert on Sunday, December 22 will feature the Oxfordshire County Youth Orchestra, Rising Voices adult choir and children from Windmill Primary School, Headington.
The event is the biggest fundraising event of the year for the Lord Mayor’s charities, which this year is Crisis Skylight and Maggie’s Oxford.
The Lord Mayor of Oxford, Councillor Dee Sinclair, said: “I am a little bit nervous about singing all by myself, but it will be a fantastic event.’’ Tickets cost £2 and are available from the town hall. It starts at 2.39pm.
