A CAR stereo was taken in Oxford by a thief who smashed a window to get inside.
The break-in happened in Margaret Road, Headington Quarry, between Monday and Tuesday.
In a separate incident, a thief broke into a car parked in East Oxford and stole a sat-nav system. The crime happened in Bartlemas Road between Friday and Saturday.
Police said it was not known how the thief got inside the car.
Elsewhere, a cyclist snatched a bag from a car when the owner was outside their Temple Cowley house. The theft happened in Leafield Road on Monday at 2.15pm.
Police described the thief as white with short dark hair. He was wearing a dark jacket and riding a black bike.
