HUNDREDS of children from across the county have taken part in a parade through Oxford to mark the start of Oxford's first ever three-day celebration of Christmas festival.
Up to 90,000 people are expected to attend the weekend's festival which began with the lantern parade in St Giles tonight.
Around 500 children carried lanterns in the procession which started from the Town Hall.
