There are delays on the A40 in West Oxfordshire after a crash just over the border in Gloucestershire.
The busy route is closed both ways at Great Barrington, and the closure is affecting traffic between Witney and Northleach in Gloucestershire.
Gloucestershire Police spokesman Alexa Collicott said: “At approx 7.05am the emergency services responded to a single vehicle collision on the unclassified road between Great Barrington and Taynton when the vehicle, a Ford Focus, collided with a bridge.
“The driver, a 43-year-old man was taken to Oxford John Radcliffe hospital with injuries that are not believed to be life threatening or changing.”
