ITS colours represent equality, peace and truth.
And yesterday, more than 300 pupils at St Joseph’s School off Headley Way, Oxford, wore the colours of the Phillippines flag, right, – red, blue white and yellow – to raise money for the victims of Typhoon Haiyan.
A total of £1,232 was raised through a cake sale and a bring and buy sale.
Ten-year-old pupil Phoebe Waghorn said: “Lots of people have lost their homes and lots of children in our school come from the Philippines so we wanted to help them.”
