Boxer is remanded on child sex charges
AN AMATEUR boxer charged with sexual activity with a child is due to go on trial next year.
Clinton Townsend, of Field Assarts, near Leafield, is alleged to have breached a sexual offences prevention order on a number of occasions and a sexual offences notification requirement.
He also faces six counts of sexual activity with a child, one count of common assault and one count of intimidation.
The 20-year-old will appear again at Oxford Crown Court on February 10 for a trial. Pleas have yet to be entered and Townsend was yesterday again remanded in custody at Oxford Crown Court.
