The good people at Oxford Folk Weekend take over the hallowed chambers of the Ashmolean Museum tomorrow for the last of this year’s LiveFriday events. Filling the galleries with the sounds of singing, plucking, scraping, blowing, drumming, will be Swindlestock, Olly Wills from The Epstein, Oxford’s wonderfully intense, dark and quirky Tamara Parsons-Baker, Ragdoll, The Black Feathers, James Bell, Boldwood, Jackie Oates, Steph West and many more. The fabulous Irregular Folk night, which has enlivened so many evenings at The Cellar, and elsewhere, tomorrow celebrates its first birthday — and it is marking the occasion by putting iona triple-headline set of some mighty fine talent in the shape of Welsh band Little Arrow, and sublime singer-songwriters Rachael Dadd and Emma Gatrill.
