THERE was hope for detained Chipping Norton Phil Ball yesterday as more of the Arctic 30 were released on bail.
Britons Alex Harris, Kieron Bryan and Anthony Perrett are the latest of the 30 detainees granted bail by a Russian court.
The group of Greenpeace activists and two journalists were charged with hooliganism after a protest at an Arctic offshore oil rig in September.
A bail of 2m roubles (£38,000) each was set. Mr Ball had not been bailed as the Oxford Mail went to press last night.
