AROUND 400 homes are without power this evening as engineers work to repair a fault in Abingdon.
A spokesman for Scottish and Southern Energy Power Distribution said workers are in Turner Road, Abingdon, replacing fuses in a transformer to try and solve the problem.
He said the power cut started just after 3.45pm and is affecting Turner Road, Gainsborough Green and The Hyde but will hopefully be restored by 7pm.
Spokesman Duncan MacDonald said: “We would like to apologise to our customer. Our priority is to restore supplies as quickly and safely as possible.”
