I HAVE just read that David Cameron has pledged to tackle the unacceptable level of noise at RAF Brize Norton. The fact that Witney is his constituency means that things will obviously be done no matter what the cost in loss of jobs and businesses, just like Upper Heyford. What I can’t understand is why people buy houses next to, or near, airfields. RAF Brize Norton has been there since the 1900s and has had jets since the 50s.
