VIOLINISTS performed classical pieces to their peers at Headington School.
The lunchtime shows are now being put on once a fortnight to give the musicians a chance to perform in the music school and in front of their classmates.
Nine young violinists on Tuesday were accompanied by Head of Strings Olivier Bonnici, and the programme ranged from Vivaldi and Mozart, to arrangements of Hakuna Matata from The Lion King.
Angel Jin, 15, from Headington, said: “I have done quite a few lunchtime concerts.
“It’s really enjoyable and it gives you confidence in exams because you know you can perform in front of people.”
Ella Chambers, 13, from North Oxford added: “I just got caught up in everything and forgot I was performing.”
