INCREASED charges for filming, advertising on council property and websites are part of a bid to net up to £2.8m for County Hall.
The county council’s income generation cabinet advisory group has announced it expects to find ways of making a minimum of £1.5m to help plug a funding gap.
At a meeting yesterday, cabinet member for finance Arash Fatemian outlined an upper target of £2.8m.
It will not form part of the budget-setting process for 2014/15 so will not be used to offset any of the £61m savings needed, but will contribute to future budgets.
