GENERAL entry to next year’s Blenheim Palace Triathlon has sold out in just nine weeks, more than three times faster than in previous years.

But the Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research event on June 7 and 8 still has charity places available.

Up to 7,000 triathletes compete every year and participants have raised more than £800,000 in the past five years.

Dan Solley, head of sports fundraising at the charity, said: “After the huge success of last year’s triathlon, we are delighted that places are selling so quickly for next year’s event.

“It is a brilliant event and a fantastic opportunity for our unstoppable supporters to help us in our mission to beat blood cancer, by raising crucial funds to stop people from dying and making patients’ lives better.

“As title sponsor and official charity we have a limited amount of places available. Sign up now to avoid disappointment.”

Adult entry fees start from £79 and those using charity places must commit to raise at least £300 in sponsorship for Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research.
