COMEDIAN, TV presenter and now Oxford University graduate Ruby Wax was at Oxford Town Hall to talk about her new book.
Ms Wax graduated from Kellogg College, Oxford, with an MA in Mindfulness-based cognitive therapy in September.
In her book, Sane New World, she draws on her periods of depression and her degree to explain how our own self-critical thoughts drive us to anxiety.
On Monday she talked about her experiences and the book before signing copies for fans.
She said: “I was delighted to be speaking in Oxford.”
In Sane New World, she argues that people can master their inner demons through mindfulness and “break the cycle” of self-criticism.
