Around 300 friends and family will commemorate what would have been Martha Fernback’s 16th birthday today.
The teenager, right, collapsed in Hinksey Park, South Oxford, on July 20 and died at the John Radcliffe Hospital.
The Cherwell School pupil’s birthday will be remembered at a tribute event at Freud’s in Walton Street, Jericho, from 4.30pm.
Her mum Anne-Marie Cockburn said: “I’m doing it to pass the day in a nice way rather than it being overwhelmingly sad.
“Everyone who loved her can get together and celebrate.”
Police are still investigating her death and said Martha took a pill that she thought was MDMA before her death.
