A woman has appeared in Oxford Magistrates’ Court accused of running of a brothel.
Lisa York, of Lakefield Road, Littlemore, Oxford, has been charged – together with Amy Gabriel and Edwina Kalay – with keeping or managing a brothel in Cranham Street, Oxford, on June 24 this year.
The 47-year-old has also been charged with possessing a weapon for the discharge of a noxious liquid, namely a pepper spray, on the same date at St Aldate’s police station.
She has been released on bail to appear at Oxford Crown Court on March 17.
