PLEASE excuse me if this letter sounds confused.

I am. Perhaps, if anyone living in the area of Bicester or even someone in authority reads it in the Oxford Mail they might respond with an answer.

I am not sure if I should bemoan that I appear to have missed the Christmas lights switch-on in the town and should maybe offer congratulations to the council that it has a new red, amber, green theme for this year’s illuminated celebrations, all at a height where they can be seen fairly easily. Or, should I inform the council that it appears to have missed one road into the town when setting up the current road block.

If you live outside the town then the quickest way is to walk into town, not so enjoyable with the current weather.

The blood pressure of our bus drivers must be at an all-time high. Who plans these things, or perhaps I should ask: “Does anybody plan them?”
