The trial of five men accused of attempting to conceal, disguise or convert criminal property at a scrapyard is due to restart today at Oxford Crown Court.

The defendants, from TR Rogers and Sons, in Nuneham Courtenay, deny accepting “suspicious” cables and lead from two undercover police officers last year. They are Terence Rogers, 70, Drayton St Leonard; Simon Rogers, 42, of Faringdon; Martin Pace, 36, of Wallingford; Ian Marshall, 29, of Berinsfield, and Darren Andrews, 34, Berinsfield.

The trial was adjourned last week because of a juror’s illness.
