A CYCLIST in his 20s has been taken to hospital following a collision with a van at The Plain in Oxford.
A police spokesman said it was not thought the cyclist had suffered serious injuries in the accident at about 9.30am.
There are reports of delays to all the approaches to the busy roundabout this morning.
A spokesman for Thames Valley Police said: “We were called at 9.38am outside the Cape of Good Hope Pub after a collision between a cyclist and a white Volkswagen van.
“The cyclist was taken to hospital but his injuries are not believed to be serious.
“The road was blocked for a little while but now the ambulance has gone it will be re-opened.”
An estimated 4,700 cyclists use the roundabout between 7am and 7pm each day, and there have only been 29 accidents leading to reported injuries in the past five years.
