THESE baby red-footed tortoises are small enough to fit in the palm of your hand now.
But the four youngsters, which weigh about 30g each and are less than 2in long, will soon grow to 15in in length.
The bunch were discovered while staff were clearing out an enclosure in Cotswold Wildlife Park, which housed tortoises until August, when they were sent to another collection.
The park in Burford has also welcomed three baby crocodiles, which were born on September 3.
Junior keeper Shane Belson said: “We didn’t know about the tortoises – they were left in there and they hatched.”
Of the crocodiles, he said: “It's strange holding something so small that one day is going to be 7ft long. It's quite amazing.”
