A MAN has denied a robbery and an assault in Banbury which allegedly inflicted grievous bodily harm.
Qais Ahmed, of Withycombe Drive, Banbury, is accused of committing the crimes on November 23 last year.
It is alleged he attacked Glenn Briggs and stole a mobile phone and cash in Banbury.
Ahmed entered not guilty pleas to both charges yesterday at Oxford Crown Court and was released on bail.
He will appear again in the two weeks beginning January 6 for a trial.
