I AM wondering if anyone in Oxford city planning has thought about the people on the new Barton estate (to be built). Have they given a thought to the congestion on Bayswater Road and Green Road roundabout and the poor people who use this road for work and school, from all surrounding villages, Barton west and east?
I honestly cannot think a footbridge and bus service will be of much use half way down the northern bypass. Homes are necessary, but a road off the new estate will be essential to keep the whole estates from being outcasts.
