Sir – How much does it cost to put on a walk for God’s sake — or anybody else’s sake.
The Council of Faiths say £1,000 and want Oxford’s council tax payers to fund it, otherwise: “We will have to go into our own pockets to ensure the walk goes ahead.” Well now I know what ‘it beggars belief’ means.
