Thousands are expected to pour into Abingdon today to enjoy what is thought to be Europe’s oldest street fair.
Abingdon’s Michaelmas fair runs today and tomorrow from noon to 10pm, filling the entire length of Ock Street.
Last year’s fair brought in around 30,000 visitors. It dates back to the 13th century and rides were set up over the weekend.
Road closures in the centre of Abingdon around Ock Street remain in place until Wednesday morning.
