I READ with interest the leader on October 1 concerning the 20mph limit in parts of Oxford. I am also pleased that finally the police are able to enforce this as it was farcical that signs were up with no legal backing.
It is also worth noting that in the area in which I live, the main culprits exceeding the limit are not only the usual reckless drivers but buses, postal vehicles, delivery vans and, believe it or not, council vehicles.
Some education needed here then.
