Councillors will next week be urged to back a motion calling for solar panels to be installed on local authority buildings.

At a meeting of Oxfordshire County Council next Tuesday at 10am at County Hall, Conservative councillor Stewart Lilly will table the motion.

He will call on the council to move “that the director for environment and economy carries out a full evaluation as to the economic advantages, or otherwise, of installing solar panels to create electricity on council owned/leased properties.”
