ELDERLY couples have put their best feet forward at the Woodstock Tea Dance.
Thirteen couples were guided on a range of dances, including the tango and the Balmoral blues, at the Woodstock Social Club yesterday. The weekly dance sessions have been held at the club for nine years.
Organiser and dance tutor Gwen Mason, 68, said: “It’s a very social club and it keeps us oldies active. The youngest member is 65 and the oldest is 90.”
Mrs Mason, from Woodstock, started dancing when she was nine.
She said: “We welcome anyone who is in the older bracket to come along and do something social.”
Sessions run from 2pm until 4pm every Tuesday at the club and cost £2 for members and £3 for non-members.
