A petrol thief has taken more than £300-worth of fuel from service stations in the Banbury area.

Police are seeking the driver of a stolen silver Nissan Micra which has made off at least three times from garages without payment, taking more than £100 worth of fuel each time.

The crimes happened between August 27 and 29.

The driver wore a florescent jacket and had cans in the car to fill up.

Plates on the stolen vehicle read T620MWP, T620WMP and T620MKP.
