Riders hoof it for donkey derby
THIS donkey race got off to a rather erratic start, but everything turned out well in the end, with a healthy profit for good causes.
The ninth annual Chinnor Donkey Derby was organised by Chinnor Boys’ Football Club and Chinnor Rifle and Pistol Club to raise money for their funds.
More than 20 other local clubs and societies ran a variety of stalls and sideshows at the fun day to boost their own coffers.
Twelve donkey races were sponsored by local firms and individuals.
