MORE than 200 children from seven Oxford schools staged a production of Sleeping Beauty.

Two performances were held, with half the children in each.

The show was part of the 1962 Choral and Orchestral Festival held at Oxford Town Hall.

In the picture, making sure everyone knew the production was on, are, left to right, Donnelle Williams, Robert Cooke, both six, Judith Allan, Robert Innes and Jenny Holmes, aged seven. They were all from New Marston Infants’ School.
