OXON: Two new free schools will open in Oxfordshire today to staff.
Tyndale Community School in Cowley and Heyford Park Free School at Upper Heyford, near Bicester, will both open to students for the first time on Wednesday.
They will become only the second and third free schools in the county after the Europa School in Culham opened last year.
Free schools are funded by the Government but not controlled by the local authority and are set up by parents or community groups.
