JUST a short line to Mr Glyn Limmer (Letters, August 22).

I am not an anti-smoker or in fact an ex-smoker. I just don’t think people should be allowed to pollute the air where sick people are being treated – not too unreasonable methinks.

If you choose to smoke and potentially shorten your life by it, then by all means carry on. Just don’t subject people like me to it passively. Look at the example of Roy Castle.
