An Oxford United fan proposed to his girlfriend in front of more than 7,000 supporters at the Kassam Stadium on Saturday.
Robert Davies, 18, got down on one knee at the side of the pitch and popped the question to Aaliyah Nicholls, 17 during half-time at the 2-2 clash with Wycombe Wanderers.
Announcer Nathan Cooper talked the crowd through the drama and jokingly said she’d refused – only to announce their engagment to cheers from fans.
