SIX-YEAR-OLD Charlotte Sajwaj carefully handled a 4,000-year-old jar at a museum workshop.
She was among youngsters who enjoyed the Ancient Egyptian craft session at Oxford’s Ashmolean Museum on Wednesday.
Families also got the chance to take a closer look at exhibits.
Charlotte said: “I enjoyed listening to the lady talking about the objects.
“The jar felt smooth and some of the other things smelt funny and strange.”
Charlotte’s mum Charlanne Sajwaj, from East Oxford, said: “It is a nice way of gently introducing kids to the museum. It is a great way to make it fun.”
